Young Local Gymnast Wins At Nationals

Kaleigh Trusty, daughter of Darrell and Heather Trusty of Wellington, recently won three top ten trophies at the 2011 United States Trampoline and Tumbling Association Nationals in June in Charleston, West Virginia.  The 6 year old placed 3^rd in the double min-trampoline, 6^th in tumbling, and 7^th in trampoline.  Kaleigh competed along with others from Dynamite Twisters Gym in Morehead, and she was coached by Nicolle Wolf, Erin Rummage, and Chelsea Hopson.  Kaleigh also had 3 top ten wins in last year’s Nationals in Springfield, Illinois, with a 4^th in the double-mini, 7^th in tumbling, and 10^th in the trampoline.  Next year she will compete as a sub-novice in all competitions
